Los Angeles Contractor Development & Bonding Program (CDABP)

Building contractor capacity by investing in their growth

Since 2005, CDABP has been helping small and diverse businesses build their contracting capacity using an Aligned Risk Management strategy in providing access to technical assistance, bonding, and contract financing support while demonstrating that capacity development is an investment with multiplicative returns.

Reflections From Our Contractor Community

“The Contractor Development and Bonding Program (CDABP) helped us bid on and win jobs that we previously did not have the capacity to bond for.  It levels the playing field. It is a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program that adds tremendous value to multiple stakeholders. I am pleased that the County has embarked on its program. It and other similar contracting assistance programs will collectively benefit many underrepresented businesses, the taxpayers, and the Los Angeles region.”
